The neckline is only one part of the picture. The structure beneath the lace, the position of the waist and the balance of the skirt all shape the finished look. A fitted gown can follow your curves; a softer skirt can bring movement while the bodice defines your waist.
During your fitting, sit down, walk, turn and look at the dress from the back. Notice whether you can relax your shoulders and move naturally. A dress should help you enjoy your wedding, from the ceremony to the photographs and celebration.

With Mila Maya Couture, we can discuss a wedding dress made to your measurements and personal design choices. Bring the details you love: a particular neckline, a more open back, a long invisible corset, silky lining, sleeves or dimensional lace.
We look at the design as a whole. The amount of support, lining and coverage must work together with the fabric and silhouette. Available changes, construction, the final quote and production timing are agreed for the gown you choose. Final fittings or alterations may still be needed.

Your free private bridal appointment is 90 minutes, with one bride at a time and up to six guests. For a gown made to your measurements, choose Custom Dress and tell us what you would love to create. You can also choose Mila Maya to explore our in-house collection.
Bring your wedding date, your favourite photographs and the details that matter to you. Send us the name or image of a specific gown before travelling so we can check the sample and size. Our collection and wedding photographs are inspiration; we confirm current samples individually.

Does made-to-measure mean no alterations?
Made-to-measure starts from your measurements. Final fit checks and alterations may still be needed, and we will explain the process for your gown.
